Theodore Martinez Jr. was born on September 18th, 1937 in Kersey, Weld County, Colorado . Ted was 70 years old when he passed on to be with the lord.He was welcomed with open arms by his parents Theodore SR. and Gonzala Martinez , brother Philip C. Martinez, his two nephews Philip Jr. and Fabian Marcus Martinez,niece Juanita Louise(Flores)Ortiz & grandson Paul Martinez Jr. Ted as he often went by moved to Oceanside CA. at the age of 2 years old with his folks , his brothers and sisters where they settled down.. Motorcycle riding was his passion and when he was not on a bike run with his buddies he was working hard doing finishing concrete work, or doing seasonal work the Del Mar Horse Races in Del Mar, CA. Ted went on to retire from the San Onofre Power Plant in San Clemente, CA., He remained in the city of Oceanside and Vista for the remainder of his life. He was a very giving and generous man. If you needed help , he was their to help you. If you needed a loan he loaned you whatever you needed. Ted was quick witted and a funny man up until a few days before he passed away surrounded by his loving family and friends. Ted is survived by his brothers Lucio, Paul& Joe Martinez and his three sisters Matilda Martinez (Flores), Linda Martinez (Trejo) and Jenny Martinez (Gutierrez) .Ted went on to marry Emilia(Mungia)Martinez in which he had three children with, Connie Martinez (Scott) Paul& Theodore Martinez lll. He later divorced and Ted went on to have nine children all together, Connie (Martinez) & bud Scott, & brother's Paul, Theodore Martinez lll, Jason Martinez, Melissa Martinez, Delyla & Domanick Martinez, Rosalinda and Ashley Martinez. Eleven grandchildren, Sunshine,Ruby & Carlos Scott, Paul Martinez Jr.(deceased) & brother Adam (Sanchez)Martinez, Naomi Martinez, and brother Theodore (Doby)Martinez IV,Alex,Damian and Jasmine Martinez,and Donavon Martinez. Seven great grandchildren.............. Ted also leaves behind many dear to his heart friends..............the mother of Jason Martinez, Debbie Kline the mother of Domanick and Delyla Martinez, Marcella C.Bernales the mother of Rosalinda and Ashley Martinez and ..........the mother of Melissa Martinez. Ted is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and many many friends. We all miss he very much.
