BLYTHEVILLE - George W. 'Woody' Calvert , 75, retired businessman, died Thursday at Mississippi County Hospital in Blytheville after a short illness. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Cobb Funeral Home with burial in Dogwood Cemetery. He was a member of Blytheville First Baptist Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion, and a World War II Army veteran. Calvert , the husband of Burl Ford Calvert , also leaves two sons, Rod Calvert of Prudehoe Bay, Alaska, and Michael Calvert of Charlotte, N.C., and a granddaughter.
