He was a member of the Church of God in Christ, a World War 1 veteran and worked many years for the Santa Fe Railroad.
Mr. Allen spent his long life in cities in Texas, Oklahoma and California and always traveled by railway.
Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his son Tommie L. Allen, Sr. of Valley Mills, Texas.
He leaves to mourn him one son, Joe S. (Mae) Allen of San Bernardino, CA, daughter-in-law Mrs. Sarah E Allen of Valley Mills, TX, 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 17 great-great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
