He was born on October 15, 1937 in Collins, Georgia to Bernard and Reba Oliver Andrews and moved to Davenport in 1953 from Georgia. Linwood worked for Holly Hill Fruit Products for some 40 years, retiring as a supervisor. He was of the Baptist faith and a proud veteran of the United States Army. Linwood was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, but mostly he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was predeceased by his parents, Bernard and Reba, as well as his loving wife, Barbara J. Andrews. Linwood is survived by his son, Tommy Andrews; daughter Brenda Lamb and her husband, Thomas Roberts; grandchildren, Michael Lamb, Christopher Lamb, Tyler Oneal; great grandchildren, Jayden Lamb, Gabriel Lamb, Penelope Lamb, Kaden Lamb, Madyson Lamb, Dustin Lucas, Tommy Brown, Wade Brown, Braden Brown, Levi Oneal, Tinley Oneal, Weston Oneal, Tatum Brown and Paisly Brown.
A visitation will be Friday, April 2, 2021 from 1:00 pm until the funeral at 2:00 pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City with Pastor Mitchell Johns officiating. Final resting place will be along side his wife in Evergreen Cemetery in Davenport.
