West Leesport, March 6- Samuel W Adams, 80 former resident of his borough, died this morning in St. Joseph's Hospital, Reading. He resided at 6131/2 Chestnut St,. Reading, the past six years.
A son of the late Charles K and Mary Ann (Wertz) Adams, he was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren denomination and of the Leesport Lodge NO. 14', Independent order of Odd Fellows.
His wife, Laura (Epler) Adams died seven years ago. Surviving are two brothers, Elmer of this borough and Harvey Of Reading.
Funeral Services will be held in the Naftizinger Funeral Home, Centerport, on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Dr John K Stoudt will officiate. Burial will be made in Leesport Union Cemetery.
