He was married to Verda McNeil at Savannah, Mo. August 29, 1940. Three children were born to this union, a son, Richard and two daughters, Donna Marie and Mary Ann. The couple also reared a foster son, Carl McNeil.
Mr Dinesen lived his entire life on the same farm on which he was born.
Surviving are his wife and children, three brothers, John, Andrew and Tony of Harlan and one sister, Mrs Mary Sindberg, also of Harlan.
Funeral services were held at the Pauley funeral home Monday afternoon, December 6 with Pastor Einer Romer of Avoca in charge. Burial was in the Harlan cemetery.
pallbearers were Ares, Derald, Leonard, martin and Raymond Dinesen and Edgar Rogers.
