Sandra Jo Thornburg, 56, Ottawa, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, at Olathe Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 18, 1951, to Arthur and Kristina (Matejka) Schnepp at Anamosa, Iowa. She graduated from Olin (Iowa) High School in 1969.
She married Dennis Albaugh in the early 1970s. He preceded her in death. She married Lloyd Thornburg in 1989 at Anamosa, Iowa. He survives.
She had lived in the Ottawa area since 1991. She had previously lived in Olin for many years.
She was a homemaker and occasionally worked as a clerical worker and bank teller.
Survivors also include two daughters, Brandie and husband, Scottie, Wright, Oskaloosa, and Shelby Lea Thornburg, Ottawa; stepdaughter and husband, Jenny and Greg Elliott, Olathe; stepson Joe Thornburg, Lawrence; sister and companion, Adrienne Rickels and Greg Gerdes, Olin; grandson, Brodie Wright, Oskaloosa; two stepgranddaughters, mother-in-law, Judy Albaugh, Mechanicsville, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.
She and Dennis Albaugh had one daughter, Brandie Albaugh
She and Lloyd had daughter, Shelby Thornburg
She also was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Stew Schnepp.
Burial will be at Mount Vernon Cemetery, Mount Vernon,
