Suey Sang Tom was born on November 10, 1929 in Guangzhou also known as Canton, is the capital and most populous city of the province of Guangdong in southern China. He was a resident of San Diego, California for sixty-eight years and he worked as a sheet metal worker in aircraft manufacturing for thirty-five years. Suey passed away on March 4, 2021 in Poway, California at the age of 91. He was preceded in death by his wife Colleen C. Tom on August 4, 2016. He leaves to cherish his memory and carry on his legacy his children: Kiana (Jerome) Tu and Warren (Josie) Tom; grandchildren: Victoria, Christopher, and Anthony; sister: Yim Min Tom.
