EUNICE~ It is with heavy hearts that the family of Phillip Dale Bellard announces his passing on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Lafayette General Medical Center at the age of 66. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating.
Phillip Dale enjoyed life, and especially enjoyed playing pool, reading, watching football, fishing and watching Sci-Fi movies. He was also a jokester, always telling and pulling jokes. He is survived by his children, Phillip Paul Bellard of Tyler, TX, Wynema Lynn Bellard of Greenville, SC, Aaron Joseph Bellard of Greenville, SC, and Brady Scott Bellard of Pine Prairie; his mother, Betty Joyce Fontenot of Duson; his brothers, Kenneth Wayne Bellard of Duson, Paul Bellard and wife, Dawn of Opelousas, and Michael Bellard and spouse, Dapo of Syracuse, NY; his sister, Cappy Ortwein and husband, Joe of Navarre, FL; grandchildren, Devon Jeremiah Bellard and Kayla Kenny; and his loving fiancé, Monica Mona Leger of Eunice; as well as extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Paul J.T. Bellard and a brother, Ronald Bellard.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home of Eunice on Friday, April 2nd from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Saturday, April 3rd from 8:00am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will pray a Rosary at 9:30 am on Saturday before services.
