Anna was the daughter of. Willam E. Dickson and Louise T. (Hill). She was the youngest of six children born to the family. She married Algernon Westley Martin in 1882 and had three children with him before she passed away. Her children were Louise b. 1884, Edward b. 1887 and W. Earle b. Sept 24, 1888.

In June 1891 she passed away and Algernon remarried by Sept. 21, 1892 to Cecilia Hardwick who raised Louise's children to adulthood. Earl and his sister are buried with their father and stepmother and I believe Anna is either buried in an unmarked grave in the same family plot or in the Dickson family plot, which is in the same cemetery. The plot where her mother and sister and brother-in-law are buried has a broken headstone, which could be her grave or her father's grave. Both have no death years to be found.

Her son Earle never married, her daughter Louise married Edward Brewer and had two children Samuel and Louise. Her son Edward married Thelma Lee Matlock and had two children Catherine and Edward Jr.

Anna's siblings were Frances, John E., Mary Isabel, Henry Hill, and Susan Martha.
