Carl T. Olin, Jr., age 86 of Minneapolis, MN, died on Saturday, April 5, 2003. He was born on March 7, 1917 to Hope and Carl Olin in Coleraine, MN. He attended Greenway Schools, and graduated from IJC and Grinnell College, Grinnell, Iowa. During World War II he was an instructor in Radio Engineering for the U.S. Army Air Force Technical Training Command at several Air Force bases. He spent most of his working career as a Technical writer/editor in the computer business.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; and two daughters, Katherine (Peter) Schlemmer and Elizabeth (Daniel) Froehlich; seven grandchildren; also his brother, David (Mary) Olin; sister-in-law, Jane Olin; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Stuart, and sister Margery Jeanne.
Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
