Mr. Beardsley was born September 6, 1944, in Elmira, NY, the son of Clark Neily and Dorothy Winifred Pollock Beardsley.
Survivors include a daughter, Hope (Ruben) Gambill and one grandson.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
Mr. Beardsley had served in the United States Army (10/9/1962-10/5/1965), he then served in the United States Navy (1/18/1967-6/6/1969). After the service, he had been employed as a mail carrier for the United States post office.
Cremation rites will be accorded by Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa.
