CHARLES WILLIAM "BILL" ROBINSON
February 22, 1939 ~ March 31, 2021 (age 82)
Charles William "Bill" Robinson began his journey to the Beautiful Lands on March 31, 2021. He grew up in Boswell, OK, but spent much of his 82 years throughout Texas.
He worked as a commercial machinist, but his spare time was spent fishing, gardening, and tinkering with cars. He loved watching sports, especially when his children or grandchildren were playing. He was proud to be Choctaw and enjoyed learning about the history and culture.
A celebration of life for Bill will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Hugo, OK, burial to follow at the Dill Cemetery in Boswell.
Charles William "Bill" Robinson was born on February 22, 1939, in Boswell, OK to Joel Cyrus and Polly Edna (Payton) Robinson.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Joel and Polly; son, Brian Gregory Robinson; grandparents, Joel Cyrus and Annie (Battiest) Robinson, and Ned and Mary (Dill) Payton; brothers, Rex Robinson, Hoot Robinson and Max Robinson; sister, Willie Mae Robinson.
Bill is survived by his sons, Shane Robinson of Ft. Worth, TX, Charles Robinson and wife, Siouxsan, of Franklin, TN and Kevan Robinson and wife Michelle of Euless, TX; daughter, Kristy Riess-Poor and husband Donald of Mars, Hill, NC;
Brother, Jack Robinson of Boswell; sisters, Phyllis Elliott Griffin and husband Bobby of China Springs, TX and Rosemary Wood of Boswell; 13 grandchildren, Nicole Moore and husband Bryan, Nicholas Riess, Lindsey Riess, Chisholm Robinson, Shae Robinson Gonzales and husband John Paul, Lakota Dodging Horse, Rosie Chasing Crow, Dante Bullshields, Nanaiya Robinson Owns Different Horses, Imaiya Robinson Owns Different Horses, Aianli Robinson Owns Different Horses, Tashka Robinson Owns Different Horses, Isabella (Eryn Isbell) Robinson; 4 great-grandchildren, Claire Moore, Taylor Moore, Rylee Riess and Laken Gonzales.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, April 6, 2021, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo, OK.
