She was survived by her niece, Ida Romero; and great-nephews, William Peace, Ron Romero, and Shawn Romero.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Young Albert Simmons.

Memorial services were held Tuesday, November 12, 2002 at Beth Messiah Congregation, 9054 Columbia Road in Landen. Graveside services followed at Chesed Chel Emmes Cemetery, Sunset Ave. in Price Hill.
