With the greatest joy, Mary Andrews Adkins reunited with the Lord on April 8, 2021, at the age of 86.

She was born in Gretna (Markham), Virginia to Thomas Nathaniel Andrews and Patty Saunders Andrews, one of eight children.

She will rejoin her husband, Grover Adkins, and two siblings, who predeceased her.

She is survived by her adoring daughter, Tammy Adkins Warren (Bob); her grandsons, Nathan Adkins and R. Colby Warren; her five brothers and sisters, Richard Andrews, Wayne Andrews (Carolyn), Ruth Meadows, Faye Taylor (Gus), and many others who surrounded her with love. She adored each and every one of her family members and her legacy will continue through them.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Shermont Baptist Church Building Fund. No visitation and Pastor Ryan Riley will conduct the graveside service on Saturday, April 11, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Danville Memorial Gardens.
