Mrs. Martha J. Chenoweth, of 1613 N. 5th St., Canon City, died Tuesday in that city. She came to Colorado in 1911 and resided in the Simla and Ramah areas for many years before moving to Canon City. She was the widow of William O. Chenoweth, who died in December 1960. She was a member of the Methodist Church of Lincoln, Nebr.
Mrs. Chenoweth was born in Millersburg, Ill., Feb. 12, 1877.
She is survived by a brother, Ralph Debord, of Simla; a niece, Mrs. Elvera Lamm, Ramah; a great-niece, Mrs. Dennis Legoo, and a nephew, Dean Lamm.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Swan Drawing Room. The Rev. Nick Susuras will officiate. Burial will be Ramah.
