Mrs. Sarah M. Heisinstein was born July 22, 1850 and went to sleep in Christ January 22, 1917 with heart failure. She was quilting and while sitting at the quilt layed her head on the quilt and went to sleep.

She accepted Christ as her Savior when she was 15 years old. She was 66 years, 6 months and one day old.

She leaves a husband, two sons, four daughters and a host of friends to mourn their loss. The two sons and two of the daughters live in Oklahoma, one daughter in Eldon and one near Russellville.

The funeral services were conducted by J. H. Browning in the Baptist church at Hickory Hill. The body was layed to rest in Hickory Hill Cemetery.

After the death of her first husband, James Madison Johnson in 1881, she married Mathias Heisenstein 22 Mar 1885 in Grayson County Texas. He survives her.
