Michael, 55, Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021. He was born on November 23, 1965 in Logansport, Indiana, to James and Sharon Alexander; both survive. He was united in marriage to Carolyn (Carlisle) Alexander on November 17, 2012.

Mike was proud to have served as Private First Class, 1st Battalion, 5th Marine in the United States Marine Corp. He was considered a "Hollywood Marine" as he trained at Camp Pendleton, California. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and beloved dogs, Cooper and Max.

Survivors include, his loving wife, Carolyn E. Alexander; children, Brandon Michael Alexander, Sophia Renee Alexander and Lydia Alexander; twin sister, Michelle Threet (Greg); brother, Shawn Alexander; and beloved dogs, Cooper and Max. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Alexander.

Family and friends will gather on Friday, April 16, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services, 1458 S. Meridian St., where a service celebrating his life will begin at 1 p.m. followed by full military honors.

Memorial contributions have been suggested to the Indianapolis Humane Society, 7929 N. Michigan Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46268 or the Wounded Warriors Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Ste. 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
