Wayne Lindberg, 73, passed away at his home on the river Monday morning August 31, 2015.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dolly Lindberg who he loved deeply; his children, Keith (Mickey) Lindberg, Brian (Cindy) Lindberg, Nancy (Ted) Siewert, Daniel Lindberg, Jonathon (Jessica) Lindberg; grandchildren, Andrew, Caleb, Tyler (Jen), Matthew, Brock, Cody, Derek (Breanna), and Rachel. He is also survived by 3 siblings, John (Jeannie) Lindberg, Lenore (Gary) Gebert, and Robert (Donna) Lindberg. His family was the love of his life and he cherished the time spent with them. He enjoyed the 'almost' weekly family cook-outs and card playing as well as some spirited croquet games.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Esther, 1 brother, Darryl and 5 sisters, Doris, Ruby, Phyllis, Sandy, and Muriel.

Wayne was born in Abbotsford, Wisconsin, where he lived virtually his entire life. He married Dolly Arndt June 23, 1962 and they began raising their family together almost immediately. Wayne worked construction for 37 years, most recently with his son, Jonathon. His reputation as the hardest working person on the job still follows him some 11 years after retirement. He was passionate about everything he did and he taught his children to do the same.
