She is the daughter of the late Tony Panker and Laura Virginia [Roach] Panker.
She died Saturday, September 13, 1997 at her Glen Jean, West Virginia home following a short illness. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors, her husband, J. Lotis Smith; two daughters, Patsy R. Smith and Lillian Black; five grand-children; and two step-grand-children.
Funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 15, 1997 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill with the Revs. Harold Murphy and John Daniels officiating. Entombment in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum at Prosperity, West Virginia.
