Josephine A. Hoffman of Arcade, NY passed away at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo at the age of 80.
She was born May 25, 1940 in Buffalo, NY a daughter of the late Edward and Sophie (Chubaty) Welninski. She was member of St. Mary's Church in Arcade and belonged to the SS Peter and Paul Ladies Guild.
She worked at the Pioneer Central School for over 30 years in food service.
Her husband, Francis "Marty" Hoffman whom she married June 20, 1959 in Bliss, NY, passed away October 27, 2016.
She is survived by her children; Valerie Hoffman of Cheektowaga, Paul (Wendy) Hoffman of Bliss, Pauline (Bob) Mikoll of Delevan, Debbie (Clinton) Schwab of Castile; her grandchildren: Jonathan (Brittany) Mikoll of West Seneca, Jennifer Mikoll of Delevan, Aaron McDaniel of Cheektowaga, Brandon Schwab of Tonawanda, Alicia (Thomas) McCready of Castile, Curtis Hoffman of Bliss and Jason Hoffman of Bliss; her great-grandchildren: Violet McCready, Jaxon McDaniel and another on the way; her siblings: Joseph (late Gloria) Welninski of Arcade and Norb (Sharon) Welninski of Depew. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents and siblings: Fred (Betty) Welninski, Geraldine (John) Borowski, Edward Welninski and Clara (Charles) Killian.
