Dorothea (Graham) La Rosa passed away suddenly on Thursday April 15, 2021 at the Inspira Medical Center, Vineland, NJ. Mrs. La Rosa was born in Philadelphia, PA and has resided in Vineland since 1950. Dorothea was pre deceased by her beloved husband Nicholas La Rosa in 1994, sister Wanda Laury in 1997, brother David Graham in 2005 and brother Dr. William H. Graham in 2014.
Mrs. La Rosa worked as a bookkeeper in the office of Kontes Glass Co. from 1955-1992 (last 20 yrs part time) Dorothea was a charter member of the Chestnut Assembly of God Church, and held office of Church Treasurer for many years. Dorothea liked to travel, do gardening and visit shut-ins in the local Nursing Homes. She also volunteered at Spirit & Truth Soup Kitchen one day a week as cook.
She is survived by her sister in-laws; Mary La Rosa & Evelyn La Rosa, as well as several close cousins & many nieces & nephews.
Relatives & friends will be received on Wednesday April 21, 2021 from 12:00-1:30 PM at the Chestnut Assembly of God Church, 2554 E. Chestnut Ave., Vineland, NJ where her funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 PM. Burial will follow in the Siloam Cemetery, Vineland, NJ.
