Brooksville-Emma Jean Franklin Buerkley, 80, died Thursday, December 15, 2022 at her home in Maysville, KY. She was born in Knott Co., KY on August 12, 1942 to the late Watson David and Eva Mullins Franklin. She was a member and past treasurer at Pleasant Ridge Union Church, a homemaker, and loving wife and mother.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph A. Buerkley, and her son Ralph A. Buerkley, Jr. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Fannie Hollis, Dealy Gregory, Marvin Franklin, Thomas Franklin and Billie Jean Franklin. Funeral service will be at 1:00pm Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Moore and Parker Funeral Home in Brooksville, KY. Burial will be at Green Acres Cemetery.
