Clarice M. Wunsch, recently of Quakertown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at Hidden Meadows, Sellersville. She enjoyed a full life for 93 years. Born at home in Trout Run, Pa. on Nov. 5, 1918 where her father owned a grist mill, she later traveled to Williamsport, Pa. to graduate from high school. In 1941 she left country life when she married Albert Wunsch and moved to Philadelphia and then Feasterville. They were married for 66 years when he passed away in 2007. Clarice had a sharp mind to the end, considered life one adventure after another, worked energetically on her quilting and crocheting projects, cooked countless meals for friends and family, and baked countless dozens of cookies for her husband to give away and enjoy. Loss of vision and a stroke reduced her activity but not her strong opinions and her enjoyment of family gatherings. From 1960 through the 80s she worked as a bookkeeper. During those years, she was also active at St. Stephen's Lutheran church in Feasterville. When she moved to Harvey Cedars, N.J. and Crystal River, Fla., she continued her involvement with church and the women's group activities. She enjoyed playing bridge and planning parties at social clubs.

Clarice is survived by her children, Judy Elsner (Bruce), Ted Wunsch (Dee) and Suzanne Johnson (George). She was preceded in death by a son, Capt. Michael Wunsch, who died in Vietnam in 1969. Clarice is also survived by her grandchildren: David Elsner (Karen), Michael Wunsch, Nancy Gallo (Mike), Melissa Seydel (Glenn) and Michelle Logsdon; and great-grandchildren: Emily and Tim Seydel, Chris, Lizzy and Adam Elsner, Parker, Abby and Gavin Logsdon, and Natalee and Katie Gallo; her sister, Patricia Rodgers of Williamsport, Pa. also survives. A sister and two brothers preceded her in death.

Family and friends are invited to gather at 12 p.m. on Dec. 7 at Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Road, Feasterville. A service will begin at 1 p.m. with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions would be greatly appreciated when sent to the Hidden Meadows Activity Fund, 340 Farmers Lane, Sellersville, PA 18960 or to The American Heart Association. Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel, Feasterville
