Miss Evelyn Morgan, 92, of 528 Hunter St., Rockmart, died Wednesday, October 24, 2007. Miss Morgan was born Oct. 19, 1915 in Polk County, the daughter of the late Julius and Annie Head Morgan. She was a member of Rockmart First Baptist Church and retired Carlton Department Store employee. She was preceded in death by a number of brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. The funeral service was conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, 2007 from Rockmart First Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Thompson officiating. Interment was held in Rose Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers included Paul Morgan, Barry Morgan, Harold Jackson, Bill Jackson, Stewart Jackson, and David Fountain. Freeman Harris Funeral Home had charge of arrangement
