Clomer Z. Bentley, age 80, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Carolyn Mills Bentley; sisters, Patricia (Golden) Day, Gladys (Marshall) King, Diane (Jessie) Shumate; brothers, Anthony (Susan) Bentley and Guy (DeeDee) Bentley; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jerry (Phyllis) Mills and Dr. James Howard (Judy) Mills; brother-in-law, Dennis Mills; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Olin Bentley and Gaynell Simonton Bentley; Chuck his beloved Jack Russell; brothers and sisters-in-law; Charles and Evelyn Bentley, James and Shirley Bentley, David and Renee Bentley; brothers, Mike Bentley and Tony Bentley.
A funeral service honoring the life of Clomer will be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel with Pastor Dean Head and Dr. James Howard Mills officiating. Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 19th from 5 pm-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations are made to Gloster Baptist Church 82 Gloster Rd. Lawrenceville, GA 30044 or Alzheimer's Association.
