Joe was a native of Philadelphia, Pa. He was the son of Dominic and Helen (Raiola) Capone..He married the lovely Marie (Briglia) Capone 52 years ago. They moved to Florida in 1991 from Wenonah, New Jersey..Joe retired as General Foreman at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard..He was a Marine Corp veteran, a life member of the American Legion Post 155 in Crystal River, Fla, a member of the Harry F. Nesbitt VFW Post 10087, in Beverly Hills, the Elks Lodge 2522 in Hernando, Fla, Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 2112 in Lecanto, Fla..He enjoyed boating, fishing, crabbing and all sports, especially his favorite football team, the Philadelphia EAGLES, which he held season tickets for more than 35 years. Joe was a football fanatic. It was a strange day if you saw Joe, and he wasn't wearing his EAGLES cap, or an EAGLES shirt. He liked golf and founded the "Cake Crab Golf Tournament"..He loved history and watched the Discovery and History channels faithfully..Joe was also quite a cook. He and his wife Marie, traveled every year to their favorite spot in Cancun.. His sister Mary McAlister preseded him in death..Other survivers include his brother, Dominic Capone and his wife Janet, of Philadelphia, Father-in-Law, Nicholas Briglia, of Bryn Mawr, Pa. and his Brother-in-Law, Richard Briglia and his wife Barbara, of Pine Ridge, in Beverly Hills, Fla. To know Joe was to love him. He was the life of the party, no matter where he was. Joe is sadly missed by all that knew him.. God Bless, and walk slowly Joe,...we'll catch up...
