Agnes C. Job, 84, of Wibaux, Montana went with Jesus on Monday, April 12, 2021.
Agnes was born on January 21, 1937 in Dickinson, North Dakota to Joseph and Eugenia (Selinger) Olheiser. She grew up on a farm four miles NW of Scheffield, ND and attended grade school at St. Pius in Scheffield; high school at Sacred Heart High in Miles City, MT; Presentation School of Nursing in Aberdeen, SD and Presentation School of Nursing in Miles City.
Agnes married Norbert P. Job at St. Pius Catholic Church in Scheffield, in 1956. After they married, they moved to the family farm one mile SW of Wibaux. In 1973, the family moved into a new house on the farm. The house was her pride and joy, as she had designed every corner and cubby hole over a three year period.
Agnes was involved in the St. Peter's Catholic Church after moving to Wibaux. She was part of the St. Peter's Choir for over fifty years and most of that as the leader. Agnes was a member of the St. Peter's Altar Society, the Wibaux Historical Society and the Prairie Arts Club as the treasurer. Norbert and Agnes purchased and ran the Wibaux Drug from June 1975 to 1989. After that Agnes worked at the Pierre Wibaux Museum, the Wibaux Visitor Center (where she loved visiting with the travelers and sharing Montana History), and the Wibaux Pioneer-Gazette. During her time at the Wibaux Pioneer-Gazette, Agnes worked on putting together a set of Obituary Books with all the obits that had been published in the Wibaux Pioneer-Gazette. These books were donated to the Wibaux Library with hopes that others can make good use of them when doing their Genealogies. Agnes also enjoyed working on the Job Genealogy, puzzles, word puzzles, and loved reading books. You would come home many times to find her curled up and reading a good book.
Agnes is survived by her children, Gerald Job of Wibaux, MT; Phyllis (Daryl) Wandler of Dickinson, ND; Mark (Tammie) Job of Wibaux, MT; Paula (Steve) Blohm of Franktown, CO; Mike (Anita) Job of Hopatcong, NJ; Norma Job of Baker City, OR; Steve Job of Golden, CO and Carol Job of Loveland, CO; two grandchildren, Anthony Blohm and Jessica Blohm; step-grandchildren; two brothers, Nick Olheiser of Dickinson, ND and Leo (Jeanette) Olheiser of Dickinson, ND; a sister, Veronica Messer of Minnesota and a sister-in-law, Katherine Hirsch and many nieces and nephews.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norbert; infant son, Gerald Mark and daughter, Francine; her brothers, Adam, Michael, and John; her sisters, Anna, Pauline, Otillia, and Rose.
