The death occurred of Maude Eileen Clarke, 91 and a half, on April 19, 2007 at Muskoka Landing. The deceased was born on November 20, 1915 in Huntsville, the daughter of Samuel and Jessie Holinshead. She married Murray Clarke in October, 1937 in Port Sydney. Mrs. Clarke was divorced at the time of her death. Survived by her son Douglas Clarke of Port Sydney and daughter Donna McIlroy of Huntsville. Also survived by her grandchildren Sean (Traci) McIlroy and Shelley (Frank) Pattillo, and great-grandchildren Tessa and Alexandra Pattillo. Predeceased by sisters Mildred Ellacott and Marion Rastll, and brother Don Holinshead. Before her retirement, Mrs. Clarke was a cook, and a member of the Anglican Church. Funeral service was conducted by Reverend Douglas Parrott at Mitchell Funeral Home chapel on April 21, 2007. Interment at Stephenson Cemetery.
