Kathern Renee "Kathy" Bolin, 57 years of age, of Somerset, Kentucky, departed this life on Monday, April 19th, 2021 in Lexington, Kentucky.
Kathy was born in New Castle, Indiana on July 23rd, 1963, daughter of the late Delta M. Foster Bolin and Joe Brady. Kathy was a family woman who loved her children dearly. She enjoyed listening to music, playing bingo, and card games. She liked camping and spending time with her family, especially at the lake.
Kathy was survived by one son, Waylon Dale Burton of Somerset, Kentucky; one daughter, Paula Renee Burton of Somerset, Kentucky; three brothers, Ronnie (and Della) Bolin of Tennessee, Gary (and Jacinta) Bolin of Nancy, Kentucky, and Dennis (and Penny) Bolin of Indiana; two sisters, Debbie Bolin of Somerset, Kentucky and Edith (and Virgil) Baker of Nicholasville, Kentucky; several nieces & nephews; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Delta Bolin, who departed this life on May 22nd, 1974 and Joe Brady; one son, Michael Joseph "Mike" Burton, who departed this life on April 27th, 2015; and two sisters, Lisa Paulette Dugger, who departed this life on April 9th, 2018 and Cindy Pardo, who departed this life on June 8th, 2015.
Visitations were held from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 23rd, 2021 at the Southern Oaks Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 23rd, 2021 in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Pastor Marvin Rose officiating.
