Acie E. Daniel, 74, 533 E. Elm st., died Tuesday afternoon in a local hospital following a short illness. He was a native of Roff, Okla., and moved to Lodi in 1954. Daniel worked for the Felton restaurants until his retirement seven years ago. He was a member of Church of Christ of Stockton.
Surviving are his wife, Ruby M. Daniel of Lodi; a son, Walter Ford of Roseburg, Ore., three sisters, Mrs. Zode Fitzgerald of Marlow, Okla., Mrs. Lela Beene of McFarland and Mrs. Edna Wheaton of Ceres; a brother, Thomas Daniel of McAlester, Okla.; and nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
