Funeral services for James M. "Buddy" Ashburn Jr., 69, of Kingston Springs, are Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007 at the Fairview Chapel of the Dickson Funeral Home at 11 a.m. A private burial will be held at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens at a later date.
Mr. Ashburn died on Oct. 27, 2007 at Briley Nursing Home in Nashville. He was born on June 10, 1938 in Davidson County.
Survivors include son, James Ashburn III and wife, Lisa, of Kingston Springs; brother, Johnny Ashburn; grandchildren, Kyle, Kayla and Paige Ashburn of Kingston Springs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James M. and Elsie McCord Ashburn; wife, Ola Mae Ashburn; and brother, Gary Ashburn.
