Freddie Everett Butler was born June, 24th 1927 in Anadarko, OK, the only child of Curtis S. and Gladys Butler.
Freddie met Wanda Clift during their sophomore year at Anadarko High School and fell in love. They married on July 8th, 1945.
Freddie served in the U.S. Occupation Forces in Germany in 1946. When he returned home in 1947, he began farming.
The Butlers attended First Assembly of God church in Anadarko after Wanda led Freddie to the Lord.
In addition to farming, Mr. Butler worked for 33 1/2 years for Apco and O.R.C. Refinery in Cyril. He retired from the Oklahoma State Maintenance Department with six and a half years of service.

Freddie went to his heavenly home on Friday, April 23rd. He leaves behind a Godly legacy for his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and the love of his life, Wanda.

Freddie is survived by his son Jerry Butler and wife Sharron, son Gary Butler and wife Loretta; his grandchildren, Candace Bond and husband Lance, Michelle Stevens and husband Ryan, Jeff Butler, Greg Butler and wife Courtney; and by his great-grandchildren, Malena, Lachlan, and Ava Bond, Justus and Mercy Stevens, and Rilen and Beckham Butler.

Viewing will be Sunday, April 25th from 1:00-8:00 p.m. at Ray and Martha's funeral home in Anadarko.

Funeral services will be held at Gospel Lighthouse Church in Anadarko on Monday, April 26th at 2:00 p.m. with Gary Butler officiating.
