"Oct. 13 - Henry O. Swank, after a long and painful sickness, died last week, Wednesday evening from a complication of diseases. He was a life-long resident of this county. He was a soldier in the civil war and served in the 45th OVI. He leaves to mourn his death three daughters, one son and one brother Frank, who lives in Williams county. His age was 70 years. He was buried in the Lutheran cemetery Friday afternoon, Rev. Graff officiating."
"Alex Mayberry and family of Mahoningtown, Pa., were here to attend the funeral of Henry Swank last Friday and remained over Sunday with Mrs. Mayberry's sisters, Mary Swank and Irene Wiloughby."
