Lige Morgan Jr. always said, "I'm not looking for a hole in the ground; I'm looking for a hole in the sky!" He kept the faith, and on June 15, 2016, at age 88, he found his hole in the sky. Born in Harlan, KY, he was a resident of Central FL for 43 years--33 years in Fruitland Park. He was known for talking about Jesus everywhere he went! He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Ruth Campbell Morgan; his daughter, Patricia Morgan Hartman; grandchildren, Tamara Munson Hartman, Rachael Hartman, and Jeremy Hartman; and his sisters Myrtle Hoskins and Mae Stargel. A Memorial Service will be held in his honor at Victory Outreach in Leesburg on Saturday, July 9, at 2 p.m. Morgan was a member of the church for 8 years, and minister of the Gospel for 50 years. Later this year, he will receive Military Honors as a Navy Veteran at Florida National Cemetery.
