Barbara Aileen White, 77, of Summerville, South Carolina, wife to Henry Phillip White of 48 years, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 25, 2021, surrounded by her family.

Born on July 29, 1943 in Dorchester County, South Carolina, Barbara was a daughter of the late, Jerome Monroe Williams and Violet Aileen (Myzell) Williams.

Barbara will be remember for her boisterous laugh, her childlike personality and her imagination and creativity. Barbara will be remembered as a strong and courageous woman who would help anyone in need. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many. Barbara worked during her life as a bookkeeper in many different industries and she will be missed.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents. Those who will most cherish are her husband; her son, Jay White (Theresa) of Summerville; her daughter, Stacy W. Hall (Collin) of Summerville; her grandchildren, Rebecca Ward, James White and Jacob Hall and her great grandchild, Austin Ward.

The family will receive friends at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at the Sandridge First Baptist Church in Ridgeville. Services to remember and honor her life will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the church with Reverend Curtis Peagler, officiating. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow services where she will be laid to rest next to her parents in the church cemetery.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Avinger Funeral Home, 2274 Eutaw Rd., Holly Hill, SC 29059, (803) 496-3434.
