Pulitzer Prize Winners Among Dead In Dutch Airliner Crash in India
Pulitzer Prize winners and writers whose by-lines were known to millions were among the persons who died in a crash of a KLM Dutch airliner near Bombay today.
THOMAS A. FALCO, 39, of 2804 Naylor road, S.E., had been attached to Business Week staff here since 1945, except for a year in 1946 and 1947 he spent as economic editor for the American military government in Berlin. He was on general assignment work at the time he went to the Far East.
During the war, Mr. Falco did editorial work for the War Production Board, and previous to that had been attached to several Federal agencies here. He was a native of New York City and a graduate of the College of New York. Mr. Falco is survived by his widow. The couple had no children.
