Added gender. 1) Original bio section from creator of the memorial is below the divider.~Mr. Charles Daws, of Arkoma, Oklahoma, died Sunday, January 4, 2004. Mr. Daws was 71 years old. He was a retired employee of the Van Buren Public Schools in Van Buren, Arkansas; and was a United States ARMY veteran.

Mr. Daws was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife: Cleta (King) Daws; 5 daughters: Donna Miller, Judity Bradley, Delinda Howell, Eulene Roberts and Johna Butler; 1 son: Dairl Daws; 2 sisters: Odell Harvel and Lucille Lane; 1 brother: Edward Daws; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral service was held Wednesday, January 7, 2004, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were: Talon Hollenbeck, Mitch Randall Bradley, Zachary Howell, Charles Ray King, Pepper King, and Richard King.
Honorary pallbearers were Brad King and Francis King.
