"Death of Judge Henry Boyce--We regret to see a notice in the "Alexandria Democrat" of the 5th, of the death of Judge Henry Boyce, well-known throughout the state. He died in the 77th year of his age, was a native of Ireland, but came to Louisiana and settled in the parish of St. Martin about the year 1824. Not many years thereafter he removed to Alexandria."
