Neil Patrick "Pat" Baker, age 52, of Elysian was tragically killed in a boating accident at his Ottertail Lake home.

Pat was born on July 4, 1968, to Gerald and Mary Ann (Beccue) Baker in Mankato. He attended Waterville Elysian High School and was a member of the class of '87. He attended Minnesota State Mankato and graduated in 1992 with an accounting degree. He spent 28 years in the accounting profession, predominately as a CPA for the Wolf Etter & Company firm out of Madelia which later became Eide Bailly in Mankato. He was currently an Audit Partner in the firm with a focus on agriculture and manufacturing industries. On August 29th, 1992, he married Pamela J. Zimprich at St. Ann Catholic Church in Janesville, Minnesota.

Pat enjoyed spending time with his family on the lakes in Ottertail County; growing up on their family lot on Pickerel Lake and having owned the BS retreat with his sister on West Battle Lake; and finally purchasing his own family's place in 2019 on his dream lake; Ottertail. Pat loved the 4th of July, the Minnesota Twins, hunting and fishing but loved nothing more than his four daughters, Alexa (24), Hayley (21), Grace (14) and Liza (12) and his wife Pam. Pat was a trustee at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Elysian and served as chairperson of the Creation and Attraction Committee of Green Seam.

Pat is survived by his daughters and wife of Elysian, MN; parents Gerald and MaryAnn of Eagle Lake; sisters: Theresa (Bob) Schwartz of New Ulm, Colleen (Jeff) Keough of Farmington, Maureen (Chub) Sorgatz of Mankato; Sarah (Greg) Lubansky of Savage; and brother Scott (Kathy) Baker of Elysian, MN; parents-in-law, Paul (Sue Wilker) Zimprich of Elysian and Lynnda Buck of Waseca; brothers-in-law: Paul (Amber) Zimprich, Jr. of Waseca; Clayton (Kim) Evans of Waseca; sister-in-law Lynnea (Pat) Linnehan of Waseca, six nieces, twelve nephews and many cousins, friends and valued colleagues.

Preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; brother, Aaron Baker; cousin, Jack Baker.
