Rebecca Lynn Sweeney, 37, of Maple Ave., Lowville, died Friday morning, August 10, 2007 at Lewis County General Hospital, after being stricken at her home.

The funeral will be Tuesday, August 14, 2007, at 1:00 PM at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., 5702 Waters Road, Lowville, with Rev. Timothy J. Soucy, pastor, of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Lowville, officiating. Burial will follow in the Lowville Rural Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday, August 13, 2007, from 7-9 PM at the funeral home.

She is survived by her mother, Theresa Sweeney of Lowville; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Catherine A. Sweeney of Lowville, Lisa and Michael Lee of Valdosta, Georgia; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, James and Mary of Sperryville, David and Denise of Lowville, Stephen of Castorland, John and Jennifer of Lowville; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her father, Earl Sweeney, who died in June, 1985.

Born on July 21, 1970 in Lowville, a daughter of Earl G. and Theresa MacNeil Sweeney. She attended Howard G. Sackett Technical Center, Glenfield, for the Food Preparation Course and graduated from Lowville Academy in 1988. She moved to Pennsylvania after high school and worked in a Veterinary Clinic in Coatsville, PA and then in a Credit Card Factory in PA and returned to Lowville in May, 2006. She loved and trained show dogs.

She was a communicant of St. Peter's Catholic Church.
