Edward Allen Bridges of Irving passed away October 22, 2007 at his home. He was born on June 2, 1926 in Dallas, Texas. He is survived by wife Dorothy Bridges of Irving; sons Boyd Fredregill and wife Audry of Grand Prairie, and Roger Keith and wife Susan of Killeen; daughters Beverly Fredregill of Ennis, Joyce Shankles and husband Thomas of Irving, Shirley Barfield and husband Danny of Arlington, and Debbie Holcomb and husband James of Terrell; brother James Bridges and wife Betty of Denver, Colorado; 16 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Friday, October 26, 2007 at Plymouth Park Baptist Church, 1714 S. Story Rd, Irving, with Rev. Ken Branam officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 1-9 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
