Gloriasteine (Millions) Fogg "Sista" was born September 30, 1943 into a loving family in Milledgeville, Baldwin County, GA. Her parents Cleveland Millions Sr. age 21 was a Farmer, and Annie Mae (Brown) Millions age 19, was a Domestic worker.

Gloriasteine attended Carver School. A segregated school in the Baldwin County school system. She had a pleasant childhood and enjoyed playing with her siblings and cousins in Milledgeville.
In her early teenage years, she had a job as a cook at Paul Garrison's restaurant with her younger brother Cleveland Jr. (Uncle Ran) to help support the family. Her family was visited often by many aunts and uncles, but the visit that intrigued her the most was when her paternal aunt Lillie Mae (Parham) Thomas came to visit. Gloria asked Lillie Mae if she could move to NJ with her, but Lillie Mae declined. Soon after, in 1956 her paternal uncle Peter (Millions) Parham moved her to New Jersey.
Peter owned a 2-family home located at 139 N.13th Street Newark, NJ where he rented the 1st floor out for income. Pete gave her the only bedroom in the home, as he slept in the kitchen. So, she decorated her room with lots of plush items and colors.
Upon graduating from Barringer High School in Newark, NJ with Honors in 1962, Pete purchased her a brand-new Ford Mustang. Soon after, she drove to Milledgeville, GA to visit her family. Gloria cared so much for her family in Milledgeville, she kept in contact with them as much as possible.
After high school, Gloria began work as a Customer Service agent for a major utilities' corporation… Public Service Electric & Gas (PSE&G). Gloria worked there several years before wanting to take a trip to Los Angeles, CA. She purchased 2 one-way tickets and advised friend Max Fogg (who was a tenant in the 1st floor apartment) "If you really love me, you'll go with me to California.". She purchased him luggage and clothing for the trip and he dropped everything to be with her. Together, they lived in California for 6 months working odd jobs to get by. They struggled to keep rent paid while eating pineapple and mayonnaise sandwiches, in the costly area they moved to. Gloria then found herself pregnant and needed to go back home to NJ.
Her uncle Pete advised her that she needed to make things right by marrying Max Fogg. They struggled to maintain their relationship, but eventually married December 17, 1967 at the East Orange Diner where they both worked. She was a waitress at the age of 24, and he was the cook at age 19. The following year, they both saved to obtain an apartment together on Halstead St, East Orange, NJ where they welcomed their 1st born child, Pierre M. Fogg. The following year, their daughter Cherye J. Fogg was born. Gloria sent for her mother Annie Mae to visit and help care for the children.
2 years later, Gloria and Max then put their finances together to purchase a home on Westcott Street in East Orange, NJ. Just after moving in, they welcomed another daughter, Lashawn M. Fogg and the following year a son, Jon D. Fogg Sr.
They would live in the home for several years, but not without turmoil and financial struggles. Gloria began employment at Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Customer Claims, while Max worked at Pathmark as a warehouse employee. Gloria's Uncle Pete helped whenever possible when times were rough, but eventually Gloria and Max separated in 1986.
Gloria stayed in the home long enough for her children to graduate high school. She retired from Blue Cross and Blue shield and met a realtor named "Mr. Davis" whom she dated. He employed her at one of his many business ventures at "Everything Yogurt" at Newark Liberty International Airport. She kept this job for a few years while she got her life back in order. He also assisted her in the sale of her home. While employed at the airport, she met an airline employee "George". They maintained a friendship over the years and took several trips together. After the sale of her home, she moved to Irvington, NJ where the owner of her new apartment building was charmed by her grace. He spoiled her with everything she could possibly want, from new cars and furs to lavish trips out of the country. He had taken care of just about every financial hardship that ever came her way.
Gloria was never selfish. Through the years, she would help her ailing mother and others in need with care packages and thoughtful gifts. She helped her children and grandchildren mercifully whenever they were in need.
Gloria was diagnosed with terminal colon cancer fall of 2013. She entrusted her care to Dr. I. Sidhom for several years as he looked after her every concern with attentiveness and care. After many years of chemotherapy treatment Gloria's body slowly deteriorated and needed rest.
While surrounded by family, Gloriasteine was called home to rest on April 29, 2021 after a 7-year battle with colon cancer. She will be missed by all who have had the pleasure of meeting her.
She was preceded in death by her parents Cleveland Millions Sr. (1950), and Annie Mae (Brown) Millions (2009). Her brothers Arthur Millions (1993), and Willie James Millions (2020) and one grandson Jon Fogg Jr. (1994).
