Parents: Jasper and Jessie Maude (St. George) Brabiner. Jasper was a railroad inspector and was killed in a train wreck ? Brabie was raised by her mother and stepfather. She had two sisters Alison (Brabiner) Wilson and Nancy (Brabiner) Pollard and they all went to private school. She was the mother of Beverly, Brad and Bruce Ward and grandmother of Tara, Kristi (died 3 July 2000 and interred in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Shaw, Oregon), Lindsey, Cassie, J.D. and Amanda Ward. A talented painter and poet. Brabie came to the U.S. in 1945 (from New Zealand) as the bride of Darrell Ward following WWII. She had many friends of all ages whom she entertained with her wonderful sense of humor and she was a wonderful cook.
