Elmer D. Miller, 92, Denver, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at Miller's Merry Manor, Peru, IN.

He was born on August 5, 1928, in Miami County, Indiana, he was the son of Elmer Elsworth Miller and Nora (Dawalt) Miller.

On April 9, 1955, in Lawton, Oklahoma, he was married to Joyce Lorene Brooks, and she preceded him in death on August 17, 2020.

He was a graduate of Chili High School in 1946, and a veteran of the United States Army, having served as a medic for two years, 1954-1956. He was a very skilled mechanic and lifelong passionate farmer, owning a dairy and grain farm northeast of Denver and working his family's land since he started in 1939, at the age of eleven.

Survivors include one son, David G. (Toni) Miller; three grandchildren, Nicholas Miller, Kokomo; Rachel (Zachary) Wyant; and Kimberly Miller; four great-grandchildren, Finnley Miller, Eisley Miller, Kinsley Wyant, and Camden Wyant.

There will be a private service for the family with no visitation.

McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana, has been entrusted with arrangements and also the source.

Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico.
