Our angelic, beautiful, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Blanche Holt Hansen, 76, passed away April 30, 2021, after battling Glioblastoma brain cancer for nearly two years. Blanche was born August 28, 1944, in Torrey, Utah, to Leo Raymond and Melba Utley Jensen Holt.

Blanche spent her childhood in many places and graduated from South Sevier High School in 1962. She married Lewis Sterling Hansen, her high school sweetheart, September 15, 1962, in Ely, NV. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. They welcomed 7 children into their loving home: Kerrie Lynn (Clark) Gentry, Kimberley Anne (Dean) Roundy, Kenda Rae (Ole) Lindgren, Karlene (Marc) Peterson, Konni Lee Hansen (Bjorn Opsahl), OJ Kevin (Rebecca) Hansen, and Sterling Kellon (Kayla) Hansen.

Blanche loved her husband and family deeply and spent countless hours reading to her children, drawing cartoons for them, cooking delicious meals, and keeping a beautiful home. She was a prolific poet and shared her talent freely. As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served as ward and stake Relief Society president, Young Women and Primary teacher, and as a service missionary for 12 years. She worked as a telephone operator and as one of Utah's first flag girls being featured in magazines and newspapers. She also worked at Sevier Valley Medical Clinic and Ashman Elementary as a resource teacher for 19 years.

Blanche is survived by her husband; children; 32 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brothers: Morris (June) Jensen, Lee R. (LaVell) Jensen; sisters-in-law Carol Jensen and Patsy Griffith; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: June (Carol) Jensen, Garth (Zola) Jensen, MacRay (Peggy) Jensen, Wayne (Rolayne) Holt, Gwenn Holt Ekker, Deneal (Lois Jean) Holt, McClain Holt, Darline Holt (Frank) Syndergaard, and Clella Holt.
