Courtney Lynn Smith, 37, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021. She was born January 14, 1984 in Springfield, to Henry and Brenda Houchin Smith.

Survivors include one daughter, Jaxcyn Drake of Springfield; one son, Natrell Jackson of Springfield; one sister, Tiffany (Ryan) Kleimenhagen of Springfield; one brother, Jared (Samantha) Smith of Litchfield, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Courtney was a graduate of Pleasant Plains High School and was a resident of Springfield for most of her life.

Courtney loved spending time with family and friends. Court also loved helping people and being there for you when she could. Our favorite memories of Court were on family vacations where we all would go camping and sit out every night around campfires and relax as a family. She loved just to be around people and talk for hours about anything. Even though she is gone, her memory lives on in her children, siblings, and friends. She can now spread her wings and be at rest with Mom & Dad.

A celebration of Courtney's life will be held at 2 pm, May 8, 2021 at Brookhills Golf Club.
