Mr. Key was born June 26, 1927 in Moreland, the son of the late Irvin Key and Lucille Upchurch Key. Mr. Key was Baptist by faith and was a Veteran having served in the Marines Corps during WWII. He worked most of his life in the textile industry as a Machine Fixer with Jean's Hosiery Mill, Vince Hosiery Mill and later Lawler Hosiery Mill.
Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, Edward and Penny Key, Thompson Station, TN, Ronnie Key, Temple, 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren also survive.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years Margeen Drummond Key on July 17, 2009 and an infant son Terry Key.
A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday May 4, 2021 at 11:30 in The Kennesaw Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday Morning at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M.
