Our beloved mother, Andrea Smith, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, March 6, 20201.
Andrea was born in Graham, Texas, on March 24, 1944, and spent her childhood in Stamford, Texas, where her parents, Andy and Mary Stone, owned the Grand Theater and the S&S Drive-In.
Andrea raised her family in Granbury and traveled the world with her husband. She worked as a realtor for Coldwell Banker and owned her own home decor company, Andrea's Accents. She was lovingly called "mother nature" by those whom she admonished to "eat your greens whether you like it or not". Andrea was very involved in the lives of her children and their friends, and she lived by the Golden Rule.
Andrea is survived by her precious granddaughter, Macie Smith; sons, Wes Smith and Deven Smith; daughter Kim Smith Pinter and husband Don ; and extended family, Vearl and Mary Ann Smith.
A memorial gathering for Andrea Smith was held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 - which would have been her 77th birthday - at the Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury, between 1 and 3 PM. During this time, Andrea's family collected "Letters of Love" from friends and family for a private graveside service on a later date.
Andrea had a special place in her heart for animals.
Memorials may be made to her favorite local charity, Granbury Friends for Animals, 2885 Fall Creek Hwy., Granbury, Texas 76049; or charity of choice.
