Entered into rest, Mrs Lora Edgerton Talcott, January 20, 1929, at the home of her son, Daniel A Talcott, Feeder St. Boonville, very suddenly of heart trouble, with which she had been subject for many years. About three weeks ago she suffered an attack of erysipelas from which she recovered and seemed to be improving and was planning on going in a few days to spend a few weeks with her sister, Mrs D Daniels near Denley, and on Sunday she had two bad spells and passed away peacefully about 4:30 pm. Lora Edgerton was born in Alex Bay August 11, 1847 the daughter of the late Daniel and Sophronia Johnston Edgerton, later of Leyden and married the late Earl J Talcott August 14, 1869. Mr Talcott was instantly killed by a train at the crossing between Boonville and Denley 19 years ago last Spetember 3. Mrs Talcott came, when quite young, with her parents to reside in Boonville and has lived here in Leyden all her life. She is survived to mourn her loss by one daughter, Mrs CA Stafford of Lyons Falls, three sons, Herbert A of East Rochester, Adelbert H and Daniel A, both of Boonville and six grandchildren. A brother, Loami died several years ago. The funeral was held at her home at 12 o'clock Wednesday january 23, Internment was made in the family plot at Talcottville. Bearers were Wesley Miles, William Bates, William Daniels, Eugene Wheeler, Mr Williamson and Fred Duvelow. Boonville.
